Personal message from Tara Michele

I have always loved jewelry and became interested in various gems (both precious and semi-precious), rocks, minerals, crystals and stones by attending local gem and mineral shows. There, I fell in love with the artistic presentation of wire wrapped jewelry and purchased several pieces from different artists over the years, ultimately deciding to take the plunge myself. As I started this journey I discovered wire weaving and was amazed at the intricate designs. Thus many of my pieces will incorporate this feature while still letting the stone be the focal point.

  • Use & Care Guide

    Handcrafted items can be delicate and while they are crafted to provide many years of beauty and satisfaction to the wearer, they are not intended to be worn all day everyday (such as while showering or sleeping) in order to prevent damage to the design elements. Do Not expose to harsh chemicals such as cleaning chemicals, hairsprays, perfumes, colognes, swimming pool chlorine etc. as this may affect the stone's appearance or metal finish.

    Cleaning with a soft polishing cloth (included with your purchase!) is typically all that is needed to keep your finished piece looking amazing. For more detailed cleaning, then it is recommended to simply use a very mild dish detergent that is safe and mild for your skin, and a soft baby's toothbrush. Always rinse and dry thoroughly.

  • Metal Finish

    Most designs are executed using base metals such as copper, brass, and/or bronze. These metals will oxidize and develop a natural patina over time. In some cases they are treated to develop the patina to enhance the final look. There are "tarnish-resistant" coated wires available, however I prefer not to use these since that coating will wear off or show tiny nicks that will oxidize in odd places. Simple polishing with a soft cloth (included with your purchase!) will maintain the metallic sheen. Occasionally, other metal such as stainless steel, gold plated, gold filled, sterling silver and/or argentium silver may be used. The metal(s) used for each piece will be included in the item description.

  • Shipping

    Orders will be shipped, to continental USA addresses only, within 2-3 business days using USPS First Class or Priority Mail. Tracking information will be provided.

  • Return Policy

    Returns are not accepted unless there is a significant issue with workmanship. Please note that minor flaws are to be expected in handcrafted items as no two items are identical, nor are they perfect. However if you are dissatisfied with your item, please do not hesitate to contact me within 14 days of receipt so that we can review the situation together and resolve to mutual satisfaction.
